Mpl from AMM patients can be translated in vitro similar to controls. Mpl cDNA clones of 15 controls and 15 Patients with AMM in pCDNA3 vector were subjected to in vitro transcription/translation using Promega's TNT Quick Coupled Transcription/Translation Systems with ³⁵S Methionine in the absence (-) or presence (+) of canine microsomal membranes. The entire reaction product was loaded onto 6% SDS PAGE and electrophoresed. The dried gel was exposed to X-ray film and a representative autoradiograph with 2 control and 4 patient samples is shown.
