Expression of CYR61 protein in high-density pellets during chondrogenic differentiation. Human bone marrow-derived MSC were differentiated into chondrocytes in high-density cell pellets. Slides from pellets of the undifferentiated cells and differentiated cells after 3 weeks were cut through the center of the pellet, fixed and subjected to immunohistochemistry as outlined in the methods section.
